Din Tai Fung!

When we went to HK, we asked where the best dimsum place is and almost everyone said Din Tai Fung but we have to be patient as there is always a long wait before you can get a table.

True enough, we had to wait around 15 minutes. May not sound too long but for a 2 pm lunch, it is.

We were 4 people and we ordered food good enough for 8 but honestly, we left nothing on the table. We devoured it all.

Disneyland Hong Kong Style!

The weather was perfect! During the day, it was bright and sunny but not hot! And the evening was nice and chilly!

Disneyland HK was about 3 MTR stations away and when we got there, I was so pleased to see that it was almost empty. There was no lining up to do in all the rides!

The only thing that bothered me was the language. I just had a hard time seeing Ariel with her long red hair and fair skin singing "A Whole New World" in Cantonese.

Tarzan was a hunk!! Without that stupid wig, I would play Jane ANYTIME baby! Anytime!

It was also great to see the Philippines in It's A Small World ride. In Anaheim, they only have one Filipina swaying side to side but in Hong Kong, they are two Filipinas in a bahay kubo! We are stepping up folks!

Night time was wonderful because it was a bit more chilly. The fireworks display is something else! I want to have that kind of display on my birthday!! Click on link below to see.

L'Hotel Nina et Convention Centre

A bit of gossip first.

The hotel I stayed at in Hong Kong was owned by the richest woman in Asia. Chinachem Group's Ms Nina Wang died recently and left all her money to her Feng Shui Master and supposedly lover, Tony Chan. Lucky guy! HE IS MY IDOL!

Nina Wang. With all the money she had, she should have hired Michael Salientes as well!

Despite the death of his lover, Tony Chan was all teeth! But with all the billions that was dumped on his lap, I would have a huge smile too!

The hotel is located in Tsuen Wan, a bit far from Central or TST but it was only a few MTR ride from Disneyland which was our main purpose in HK.

We had a room up in the 57th floor and the view was simply amazing.

The lobby was huge!

Right in front of the hotel, an awesome playground that's open till 11 pm!

The beds were so comfy that I wanted to stay in the whole day!

Huge ass rocks were embedded and covered by glass on the floor.

On the 41st Floor, there's a bridge to get to the other tower but the floor is made of glass! Love it!

As much as we loved the hotel, I don't think i will stay here anymore in the future because of the distance to the shopping area. I think we must have spent about US$100 on MTR alone.

But I surely recommend it to people who plan to go do Disneyland and not stay in Disneyland Hotel.

Thanks to Arno for the gossip!
