@Iloveruffag, Twitter blog.

That is her twitter name just incase you want to follow this Super Star!

Last night, her birthday bash was at @Republiq_. Never been there before and it's good to know that there's another uber cool place to go to in Manila for some dancing and chilling.

Anyway, thanks to @iamtimyap for hosting the event last night. It was a great success and lots of fun and star striking moments.

But I have to admit. I was a failure. I slept a lot during the day and had so much time in my hands that I COULD HAVE AT LEAST CHARGED MY CAMERA...but I didn't. And so, middle of the night, it died on me. What a fool huh? Anyway, at least I captured in video the surprise dance number.

@Jdhoschka and I arrived around 9 pm to see a lot of people already partying like rock stars. I didn't get to take photos of other celebs that I saw because my camera hyperventilating.

I did see @RealDonitaRose and her hubby, Eric. Other party twitter peeps were @mondgutierrez @pueyquinones, @rajolaurel @jenniepperson @piaguanio @aminaaranaz @miriamq @solennheusaff @crystallebelo and many more.

The birthday girl looked FABULOUS!! @alyannamartinez, you did a good job and even if your shoes were killing you, you still rocked your outfit.

To @iloveruffag CHEERS to you on your birthday!! We had a blast!!!

Blurry photos were grabbed from twitterers!

See you in Twitter,

Legally Blonde in Meralco!

A musical in Meralco! Finally! It's been a while since the last.

I just want you to know that I have never seen so many people in PINK under one roof in my life. It was truly the color of the night.

Jul B. Dizon Jewellery made the heart silver necklace for Ellen (photo to follow) and because of our tiny contribution, I was able to get my party peeps in to watch the Press Night of the play.

I found myself laughing out loud a few times. Although, perhaps I should watch again to see if they have ironed out the kinks.

Nikki never missed a line. She got all the notes and danced and sang into the hearts of her viewers. It is not her fault that the sound system screwed up parts of the play where her voice was drowned out by static. I like her and as her first play, I think she did pretty well.

Nyoy.....oh my Nyoy...he needs to get his voice out of the acoustic mode. He's in theatre now where a powerful voice is totally necessary, especially when he's singing. He seemed scared throughout the beginning and middle part but at the end of the play, he showed he was more relaxed and made his voice heard, a little too late, but at least he can do it if he tried.

Cristina Villonco is a natural. It's obvious she's done this before which is why she exudes confidence. Wish Vivian had more singing parts though. I would have wanted to hear more of her singing.

Funny man, Calvin Millado who played the UPS guy, made everyone laugh. His uber tight uniform was hilarious on its own.

Geneva Cruz, I have to admire her for what she has to do in the play. She works out, does aerobics, jump ropes WHILE singing that it made ME exhausted just watching her. After her GYM performance, she has to speak her lines and hiding the fact that she is breathless was a little weird. By the way, her body ROCKS!!!!

J and J will surely watch it again because they loved it so. Bravo to the cast and crew!!

Billy Joe Crawford, the love of Nikki Gil's life. He wore pink to show support too!

A little story. When I was 17, my high school friends and I decided to take theatre classes for summer. At that time, it was only Repertory and it was all the way in Makati. I would take the air conditioned bus to go all the way to Buendia because my parents didn't like the fact that I am taking up this class. Imagine? Me at 17 in a bus on EDSA? I was so scared ALL THE TIME. When I got down from the bus, I had to take a JEEPNEY to get to Repertory. I hated it. But when I got to the class, everything was ok again.

My friends and I did a summer play together. It was fun and after summer, I was back doing what I am doing now. Jewellery. But my friends stayed on, learned the art of theatre and excelled in it. Lourdes Faberes is an actress/model in London doing plays and movies and commercials. It's been forever since I last saw her but I have very fond memories of our time in high school.

I am not sure about ALL the plays that Chari Arespacochaga was involved in. Not sure if blogspot has enough space for me to name each one but Chari has come a long way from that summer class we were in. She is the director of Legally Blonde and I feel so proud knowing her. Congratulations!!!

Run is till July 18.

“It has been an exciting 65 years for Max’s. From a small cafĂ© in Scout Tuason, Max’s has grown to become one of the most-loved homegrown brands in the world, a brand that every Filipino can be proud of. Max’s Chicken-All-You-Can promo translates our heartfelt gratitude to all our patrons –families who have created their fondest memories at Max’s, and individuals who continue to embrace and enjoy Filipino cuisine,” said Marc H. San Juan of Corporate Marketing, Max’s Restaurant.

I just hope that they don't give customers a silly excuse like, "Sorry, we ran out of chicken."

Will try it with my family. After that, I am sure they will be sorry that they ever thought of this promo. BWA HA HA HA!!!

Marvelously Malacanang!

I don't understand why Pres. Noynoy does not want to live here when he takes his post. I have never been to Malacanang. Well, only once in the garden when Regine held a concert there produced by Former First Lady Ming Ramos. It was for PISO PARA sa PASIG Foundation. I didn't get to go inside and so, I never really knew what it was like until Paul S. sent me a link to view his photos of it.

I was shocked at how beautiful it is and how MASSIVE it is, as Paul would say it.

His photos are of rooms which are not open to the public so even if I take the tour, it won't be the places that he took shots of. I am officially jealous but at the same time, PROUD that we Filipinos have a structure so amazing and rich with culture and history.

I had the chance to go inside each room that I would want to see when it was President Joseph Estrada but I didn't take it because I never thought it would be interesting. REGRETTING it so much now.

Thank you Paul for showing me this and for letting me share to my peeps.

This thimble was used to sew our FLAG!!! Amazing.

Daddy's Day With Mercedes Benz!

Father's Day truly is a special one especially when the father's in your family are as great as mine. My Dad has taken over my Mom's role while maintaining his COOL Lolo status with his grandkids. I am truly blessed to have someone like him as my Daddy-o.

AG on the other hand is not my dad BUT I can truly tell how great of a a father he is to his lil' boy. Cedric and CJ are outstanding dad's as well and only deserve the best.

So when I posted on my FB that my Dad wanted a car for Father's Day, Grace Ang picked up the opportunity to make the Father's in my life truly happy by sending over a MERCEDES BENZ, 2009, E 300 to my house for them to use for 2 days.

Now, the men in my family are indeed car lovers but they are also quite practical. My Dad asked my Mom, when she was still with us, if he should buy her a Jaguar or MB. My Mom would say, "I am fine with our car, as long as it is air conditioned and will take me to where I need to go, I don't need anything fancy." And this has been instilled in all of us since then.

That was a WOMAN talking. Not really caring too much about a vehicle but of course would rather stay home if she doesn't have the right pair of shoes on. I am honestly happy with my Honda CRV. It was my very first big purchase as an adult, it's red and has AC, so I am good....for now.

To be frank, I think we have TOO many cars right now. Since Mom left, my Dad has bought 2 cars. It's only been 6 months. It may not be a Jaguar or MB but still...2 cars in 6 months is something Mom would never approve of. But that's MEN for you. It's like their own shoe closet. The more shoes and clothes the WOMEN buy, the more cars the MEN think they should have.

But when the MB was driven up the garage, the boys came out with their jaws dropped. Of course, I took the opportunity to joke around and tell them that I bought it and well...of course, they didn't buy it and knew I was just kidding. In less than 10 minutes, AG, Dad and 2 little nephews were out the gate to take it for a spin.

AG loved it so much that for once, he was itching to drive around, even to FAIRVIEW! Usually, he just wants to stay home and watch TV but in this case, I had a hard time keeping him still!

I personally LOVED the car. I felt so right in it. Like it was made for me. (BWA HA HA HA) I loved it so much that it was all I could TWEET about all day. But when they turned it over to me, the contract had the price written on it. GULP. As I said in my FB, we would have to sell 5 of our cars to get this beauty. And if it were up to me, I would say, bye cars and HEEELLOOOOO Mercedes!
